We are looking for Senior Software Developer for our Development Center in İzmir.
A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus but not required.
Experience / Technical Knowledge:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in logistics or SaaS environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, Java, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks like Spring, Angular, or React.
- Development Tools: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and testing tools.
- Agile Methodologies: Comfortable working in Agile environments and familiar with tools like JIRA for sprint planning and task tracking.
- Fluent in English. (Our working language is English)
- Advanced communication skills, problem solving, analysis, planning, and follow-up.
- Advance knowledge in SQL / PLSQL
- Knowledge in Javascript, HTML, CSS
Job Description:
As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Simply Deliver’s logistics software solutions. This position requires advanced technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will work on developing new features, improving existing functionality, and ensuring high-quality code that meets industry standards.

- Technical Leadership: Contribute to architecture and design discussions, offering input on best practices and solutions.
- Coding Excellence: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices for software development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with consultants, project managers, and other developers to deliver solutions that align with client needs.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring that the software performs reliably and meets quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and propose innovative ideas for improving software performance and user experience.
Bonus Points for:
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in software development, cloud technologies, or data security.
- Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure).
- Mentorship Skills: Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.
- Dutch language skills
- Logistics- IT or Retail- IT working knowledge
- Knowledge and experience Toggl, Jira, Pivotal Tracker, etc.
- Knowledge in Node JS
- Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan and execute application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development
