We are looking for a Senior Project Manager in our Rotterdam office.
A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
Experience / Technical Knowledge:
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software or logistics projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and agile methodologies.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics processes and software implementation.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and excellent client communication skills.
Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of Simply Deliver’s software solutions from initiation to completion. This role requires extensive project management experience, an ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, and strong client relationship management skills. You will manage timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring that each project is delivered on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Project Ownership: Take full ownership of projects, managing all phases from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with project manager, consultants, developers, and clients to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks early and develop effective mitigation plans to minimize impact.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular and transparent communication with clients, providing updates on project status and managing expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and team efficiency.
Bonus points for:
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.
- Multilingual Skills: Fluency in Dutch is a plus, considering our client base.
- SaaS Experience: Previous experience managing projects in a SaaS environment, especially within logistics or supply chain sectors.
- Advanced Data Skills: Ability to analyze project data to drive decisions and improve project outcomes.
